Discipleship Courses

At St. Helen’s we believe that faith is an “everyday” thing. It touches every area of our lives as individuals and as a church, and reminds us that God wants us to pray, to witness, to serve, at all times and in all places: our homes, workplaces, schools, friendship groups and leisure time. This is how God’s kingdom will come on earth as it is in heaven.

We want to help Christians to live out their faith every day, and one of the ways we do that is by running discipleship courses. A group of us really enjoyed doing the Pilgrim course over the last couple of years. Enjoying learning and growing in faith together through exploration, learning and discussion.

Since then we’ve run some short courses looking at how we could revive Advent, and also have looked at the Gospel of Luke together in more depth.

***NEW COURSE*** LENTWISE: February - March 2026

Between 25th February and 25th March 2026 you are invited to join our Wednesday evening Lent Course: Lentwise. Discover spiritual essentials, exploring the spiritual themes of Lent.  The course will be in our Community Heritage Centre between 7.30 - 9 pm each Wednesday. Please contact the parish office for more information.
